Week 12 Exercise + Final Storyboarding

 Rigging

This week, we practiced rigging a model. First I created a simple character. I wanted it to be pretty simple, so I stuck to using only cubes to make it. Next I worked on creating the rig. I created a few joints at the natural spots, and tried to keep them as symmetrical as I could. I think the rig is set up pretty well, but I had a little bit of trouble getting the movement to look correct.

Onto Storyboarding, my scene is fairly simple. I'm using the bedroom scene I built for the midterm (from the game Yume Nikki), and animating it. Below I drew the expected movement onto some screenshots from the game that I would use as a reference. I plan on having the camera move about the scene, and go through some doors. My goal is to make the animation around 30 seconds, and 720 frames.
